Beasiswa Luar Negeri. The University of Bradford is offering up to 10 scholarships to self-financing international students from outside the EU, who are commencing undergraduate courses in September 2007.

* Value – half the international tuition fee
* Awarded on the basis of academic merit
* Offered to international candidates from non-EU countries entering undergraduate courses in September 2007
* Awarded for each year of the course
The scholarships are worth half the full international tuition fee and will be awarded for each year of the course and will be offered on a competitive basis to applicants with outstanding

Who can apply?
Applicants must

* Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand.
* Have met the University’s academic and English requirements for the course to be considered for a scholarship (must hold a FULL OFFER by the application deadline).
* Have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0) for Postgraduate applications and minimum requirement of 90 (out of 100) for Undergraduate applications.
You are not eligible if

* You are a citizen of Australia or New Zealand, or hold permanent residency of Australia.
* You are currently enrolled at Macquarie University for a program which is equivalent in level.
* You have undertaken the same level of study previously.
* You are currently enrolled in the program that you apply the MUIS for.
* You are in receipt of another equivalent or major award or scholarship.
* You are a Study Abroad or an Exchange student coming to Macquarie University.



What does MUIS cover?
Macquarie University International Scholarships are available across most courses to cover international tuition fees for study on campus in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree.

Scholarships will be granted to cover the credit points required to complete a single undergraduate or postgraduate degree.

The scholarship provides course fees for the minimum course duration. No additional allowances are payable. The scholarship does NOT provide financial support in the form of a living allowance, nor does it provide for the cost of visa application, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), airfares, accommodation, conferences or other costs associated with study. Annual renewal of the MUIS is subject to satisfactory performance in the Macquarie University degree program.

The New Zealand International Undergraduate Fees Scholarships reflect
the New Zealand Government’s commitment to deepening New Zealand’s
educational partnerships with participating countries and regions.

The New Zealand education system provides students with the knowledge
and skills to achieve results equal to the world’s best. The
scholarship programme is about sharing this excellence with the rest of the
world, and bringing the best from elsewhere to share their knowledge with
New Zealand.

Up to 28 scholarships will be awarded for students undertaking
undergraduate study at a New Zealand university in the coming academic year.

Terms and Conditions


To be eligible for a scholarship students must:

* Be passport holders or permanent residents of one of the
following.
ASEAN (Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore,
Thailand, Viet Nam)
Asia (China, Korea, Japan, India, Taiwan)
Latin America (Brazil, Chile, Mexico)
* Meet the requirements for entry into an undergraduate degree
programme at a New Zealand university. (Please note, this will include
proof of English language proficiency). Information on New Zealand
institutions is available on the Education New Zealand student website,
www.newzealandeducated.com. Candidates can use the online course search
facility to help them identify which institution is right for them. The
results will allow them to access detailed information on living and
studying in New Zealand, institutional profiles, their individual website
addresses and detailed course information.
* Have completed their final two (2) years of secondary school and
a minimum of one year of tertiary study in their home country at the
time of application.
* Be under the age of 30 as at the application close date
(candidates birth dates must be on or after 20 October, 1976, anyone born before
this date may not apply)
* Include a completed ‘Application for Admission’ form for
their preferred New Zealand university together with the appropriate
supporting documents.
* Be in the top 10% or at an ‘Excellent’ level in the final
secondary qualification in their country and first year of university.
* Hold one of the following English language test scores, achieved
no longer than two (2) years prior to the time of application. Please
note that certain courses of study such as Law or Engineering require a
higher level of English language proficiency than others, check with
the host institution for confirmation:
o An IELTS Academic Test with an overall score of at least
6.0 with no band less than 5.5; or
o A TOEFL test score of at least 550, including a score of
4.5 in the Test of Written English; or
o A score of 213 in the Computer based TOEFL, including an
Essay Writing score of 4.0; or
o Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) – Grade
B; Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in
English (CPE) – Grade C

TOEFL test reports should be sent directly to the Education New Zealand
Trust’s ETS institution code of 8727. This should be specified at the
time of taking the test.

Candidates who hold New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency may
not apply under any circumstances.

The following disciplines are excluded from the NZIUF Scholarships:

1. Aviation
2. Dental Surgery
3. Medicine
4. Optometry, and
5. Veterinary Science

The number of scholarships available each year shall be determined by
Education New Zealand in consultation with the New Zealand Ministry of
Education who shall from time to time also review the terms and
conditions of the awards.

The scholarship is tenable at any one of the following institutions
(listed in alphabetical order):

* AUT University
* Lincoln University
* Massey University
* University of Auckland
* University of Canterbury
* University of Otago
* University of Waikato
* Victoria University of Wellington

A scholarship shall lapse in the event that a person to whom an award
has been made fails to become admitted into their fulltime undergraduate
programme by 1 August in the year following that of application.

Please note that candidates wishing to study on a part time basis are
ineligible. Students who are already physically located in New Zealand
are not eligible to apply.

The scholarship is conditional upon gaining entry and enrolling in an
undergraduate degree programme at a New Zealand university. The offer of
a scholarship does not guarantee admission. Scholarship holders are
responsible for securing an appropriate entry visa to New Zealand and for
any fees associated with the visa, including a medical examination.
The offer of a scholarship does not guarantee that such a visa will be
granted.

Scholarship holders may not change their degree programme during tenure
of the scholarship without written permission from their host
university and Education New Zealand. In the event of a recipient’s enrolment
being suspended for any reason by their host university, Education New
Zealand must be informed in writing. In these cases the scholarship
will also be suspended. Scholarship recipients may not simultaneously
hold other scholarships funded by the New Zealand Government.

*Please note that there may be additional country specific eligibility
criteria applied by each country’s scholarships agency. Please ensure

Value
The value of the New Zealand International Undergraduate Fees
Scholarships shall be full undergraduate tuition fees for six semesters or the
completion of the undergraduate degree programme, whichever comes
first. This does not include living costs, insurance and travel expenses to
and from New Zealand. Candidates are required to maintain a high level
of academic achievement at all times as the awards are subject to
continuing good performance.

How do students apply?
Applications must be made in the first instance to the designated
Scholarship agency in the country in which the applicant has his/her

Sekilas Tentang Progam SDM-EKSPAD Program Beasiswa Pendidikan SDM-EKSPAD adalah suatu program bagi putra-putri terbaik daerah untuk mengikuti pendidikan strata satu (S-1) ekonomi syariah di STEI SEBI. Program ini diselenggarakan oleh STEI SEBI bermitra dengan sejumlah Lembaga Donasi, Pemerintah, BUMN/D, Tokoh dan Cendekiawan. Ide lahirnya program ini dilandasi atas keprihatinan yang mendalam atas kian terpuruknya kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat diberbagai daerah, zerutama daerah yang mengalami bencana. Musibah yang silih berganti menghampiri bangsa ini terutama yang menimpa beberapa daerah bencana, telah banyak menimbulkan penderitaan dan kesulitan hidup.

ASEAN Scholarships 2008 for Indonesia (SLTP and SLTA students)

New! Application Deadline July 20, 2007. The ASEAN Scholarships for Indonesia is tenable for 4 years leading to the award of the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced’ (GCE ‘A’) Level (or equivalent) certificate.The Scholarship is for studies in selected Singapore schools from Secondary Three to Pre-University Two and is renewed annually, subject to the satisfactory performance of the scholar.

Students from Indonesia are welcome to apply for the ASEAN Scholarships for Indonesia to enter Singapore schools at the Secondary Three level. Candidates who are not short-listed for the scholarships will be considered for the Merit Awards.

Students who meet the following criteria are invited to apply for the scholarship.

Kita sepakat bahwa pendidikan adalah investasi yang pasti. Mahalnya biaya pendidikan kini sedikit teratasi dengan menjamurnya program beasiswa bagi siswa dari kalangan ekonomi kurang mampu tapi memiliki potensi yang patut dihargai. Salah satu beasiswa yang rutin disalurkan oleh Pemerintahan adalah beasiswa yang berasal dari Kementerian Pendidikan Singapura yang ditujukan bagi pelajar-pelajar berprestasi dari negara-negara ASEAN untuk meneruskan pendidikan di Secondary Schools (Setingkat SLTP) dan Junior College (setingkat SMU) ternama di Singapura, untuk pada akhirnya mengikuti Ujian GCE “A” Level (General Certificate of Education (Advantage) Level Examination) atau setara. Beasiswa ini ditawarkan dengan tujuan memberikan kesempatan bagi generasi muda ASEAN untuk mengembangkan dan memenuhi potensi mereka sepenuhnya.

Para penerima beasiswa akan memulai sekolah di Singapura pada tingkat Secondary 3 (SLTP tingkat 3) dan akan mengikuti ujian GCE “O” Level (atau setara) pada akhir tahun Secondary 4, dan apabila memenuhi syarat, para penerima beasiswa juga akan mengikuti ujian GCE “A” Level (atau setara) pada akhir Pre University 2 (SMU setingkat 2)

Para pelajar yang lulus ujian GCE “A” Level dengan nilai yang tinggi akan diberikan beasiswa penuh untuk melanjutkan pendidikan mereka di National University of Singapore (NUS) atau Nanyang Technology University (NTU).

Beasiswa ini meliputi:

1. Uang sejumlah S$2200 (untuk untuk pelajar yang duduk di Secondary School) / S$2400 (untuk pelajar yang duduk di Pre University) pertahun serta tempat tinggal di asrama.
2. Uang sejumlah S$400 dalam masa penyesuaian diri (bagi pelajar Secondary )
3. Dibebaskan dari pembayaran uang sekolah di Singapura dan Sumbangan Pendidikan (Education Fund)
4. Dibebaskan dari uang ujian GCE “O” Level dan Level GCE “A” Level (hanya sekali)
5. Tiket penerbangan kelas ekonomi untuk perjalanan ke Singapura (awal tahun pertama) dan perjalanan pulang ke Indonesia (akhir kontrak)
6. Subsidi untuk fasilitas kesehatan dan mendapatkan asuransi kecelakaaan
7. Kursus Intensif Bahasa Inggris selama bulan November dan Desember 2007.

Sesuai perjanjian, penerima beasiswa tidak dikenakan ikatan kerja dengan pemerintah Singapura.

Penerima beasiswa harus :

* berwarganegara Indonesia
* lahir antara tahun 1991 dan 1993
* telah mengikuti ujian EBTANAS/UAN 2007 dan berprestasi di sekolah

Prosedur Penyeleksian :
Hanya pendaftar yang terplilh akan diundang untuk mengikuti ujian seleksi kemampuan umum, Bahasa Inggris dan Matematika yang akan diadakan di Jakarta, Medan dan Surabaya pada bulan Agustus. Beasiswa S1, S2 dan S3 di Inggris

De Montfort University’s Vice Chancellor is delighted to offer 43 scholarships of £1000 each to overseas students, for courses starting in September 2007. The scholarships are available for courses starting in September 2007 only (or between September 2007 and June 2008 for MPhil/PhD research degrees). The £1000 scholarship will be made as a one-off payment and will be deducted from the full tuition fee at the beginning of the first (or only) year of study.

The £1000 scholarships will be paid towards the full overseas tuition fees of overseas-status students from any country in the world who wish to study any of the following types of courses at De Montfort University,
Leicester:
• Full-time undergraduate degrees in any subject
• Full-time Postgraduate Diplomas and Masters courses in any subject
• Full-time MPhil/PhD research degrees in any subject

1. Surat pernyataan dari instansi bahwa peserta akan diberdayakan di instansi tersebut setelah selesai masa pendidikan selama minimal 2n+1 (format baku)
2. Surat rekomendasi dari instansi asal untuk mengikuti Program Beasiswa Unggulan
3. Letter of acceptance untuk twinning/sandwich program dari PT di luar negeri
4. Letter of acceptance dari PT di dalam negeri khusus S3
5. Formulir pendaftaran Program Beasiswa Unggulan dilengkapi pasfoto berwarna terbaru 3x4 (2 lembar)
6. Proposal rencana usulan tugas akhir/tesis/disertasi
7. Ijazah dan transkrip nilai pendidikan terakhir yang telah dilegalisasi
8. Memiliki kemampuan bahasa asing (sertifikat TOEFL, IELTS atau TOEIC) dan sertifikat penghargaan lainnya
9. Usia pendaftaran untuk D4/S1 tidak lebih dari 21 tahun

Beasiswa di Inggris dari The University of Worcester International Scholarships 2007-2008

New International students aiming to study at the University of Worcester this academic year are invited to apply for a substantial £2,000 scholarship.

Successful applicants will have to demonstrate examples of academic achievement and excellence within their application form and additional supporting statement.

The University welcomes students from across the world to its friendly parkland campus, and international undergraduates can now take advantage of this one year £2,000 tuition fee reduction.
Any students who have already applied for an international scholarship will not have to resubmit an application under the new system.

The International Scholarship is open to all full fee paying international students (Non-UK or EU). A separate bursary is also available for EU students.

If you have the desire and motivation to study abroad and want to discover how the University of Worcester can stretch your horizons.

The closing date for international student applications is June 30 2007, for September 2007 enrolment. Successful applicants will be notified by July 31 2007.

France: BA / BSc Scholarship 2008

Study at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in the heart of the Paris "Quartier Latin" at the Department of Cognitive Studies.

The Department of Cognitive Studies of the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris offers graduate programs in Linguistics and in Cognitive Science. While it is possible to apply to these programs and be accepted without support, a small number of applicants can become International Division Scholars and receive a monthly stipend of 1,000 Euros for three-years.
This International Scholars Program is reserved for foreign (non-French) participants. In the Humanities, this scholarship is aimed at the most promising students currently enrolled in their final year of undergraduate studies. In the Sciences, it is aimed at the most promising students who are currently enrolled in their second or third year of university studies. Upon acceptance, students become ENS-International Division Scholars. After graduating from the ENS, or during their final year, most students begin their doctoral thesis. If completed in France, this thesis may be financed by a research grant awarded by the French Ministry of National Education. For any thesis pursued outside France, there are bilateral and European agreements managed by the ENS in close collaboration with other foreign universities (co-sponsored thesis). After having completed the doctoral thesis, most ENS students choose a career in the field of research or higher education.
