Indonesia English Language Study Program
(Batch – II)

A scholarship program offered to undergraduate students in any university in Indonesia (the 3rd year -above) to join an eight-week intensive English language courses at colleges and universities throughout the United States.

Applicants must:

be 19-24 years of age
be an undergraduate student at least on the fifth semester (3rd year) in any field of study from any university in Indonesia
be proficient in English with a minimum TOEFL®ITP score of 470 ( not a prediction test)
be committed in returning to their home universities immediately after the program
indicate a serious interest in learning about the United States
have a sustained high level of academic achievement
have had no prior study in the United States or elsewhere outside of Indonesia
be mature, responsible, independent, confident, open-minded, tolerant, thoughtful and inquisitive
be willing and able to full participate in an intensive academic program

BEASISWA S1 DAN S2 DALAM NEGERI DAN LUAR NEGERI DARI KAUST DISCOVERY SCHOLARSHIP

King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) adalah sebuah universitas berskala internasional yang berbasis riset di bidang science dan teknologi yang berlokasi di Arab Saudi.

KAUST menawarkan program beasiswa yang disebut KAUST Discovery Scholarship diperuntukkan bagi mahasiswa S1 dari bidang studi Science dan Teknologi di perguruan tinggi manapun di Indonesia.
Persyaratan:

- Terdaftar aktif pada tahun ajaran 2007/2008 sebagai mahasiswa S1 tahun ketiga keatas dari jurusan teknik dan science di perguruan tinggi manapun di Indonesia
- Memiliki prestasi akademik dan/atau pengalaman riset yang memuaskan
- Memiliki kemampuan Bahasa Inggris yang baik, dengan syarat: memiliki skor minimal 550 (TOEFL-PBT) atau 213 (TOEFL Computer-Based) atau 79-80 (TOEFL Internet-Based) atau 6.0 (IELTS)
- Pada Agustus 2009 sudah bisa memulai pendidikan S2 di King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Arab Saudi

Beasiswa yang diberikan mencakup:

Selama periode kuliah S1
- Seluruh biaya kuliah (SPP dan biaya lain) sampai lulus kuliah S1
- Tunjangan hidup
- Tunjangan buku
- Tunjangan laptop/komputer
- Kesempatan berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan-kegiatan akademik (global workshop, regional workshop, seminar, dll) yang diadakan oleh KAUST, baik di kampus KAUST di Arab Saudi maupun di negara lain (seluruh biaya ditanggung)

Setelah lulus kuliah S1
- Diterima untuk melanjutkan Program S2 di King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Arab Saudi; dan berhak atas
- Beasiswa penuh yang meliputi tuition, akomodasi dan tunjangan transportasi – hingga lulus

Beasiswa SMBC Global Foundation Scholarship Program merupakan program beasiswa yang disponsori oleh SMBC Global Foundation, Inc., bagi para mahasiswa tahap sarjana (S1) di UNAIR, UI, UGM dan UNPAD. Beasiswa akan diberikan berupa bantuan dana studi untuk 1 (satu) tahun ajaran, yaitu tahun ajaran 2007/2008.
PERSYARATAN
- Masih terdaftar sebagai mahasiswa aktif pada tahun ajaran 2007/2008
- IPS (Semester Ganjil & Genap 2006/2007) dan IPK terakhir minimal 3.00
- Memiliki bakat kepemimpinan dengan aktif dalam kegiatan kemahasiswaan atau sosial kemasyarakatan lainnya
- Membutuhkan bantuan keuangan

Dokumen pendaftaran yang harus dilengkapi adalah: formulir pendaftaran yang telah diisi lengkap, 2 buah esai (untuk menjawab/memenuhi isian formulir pendaftaran bagian V), transkrip nilai semester Ganjil dan Genap 2006/2007, fotokopi KTM, fotokopi KTP; dan dokumen pendukung lainnya, sesuai dengan ketentuan di masing-masing universitas.

Asia 100 - Yoshida Scholarship Foundation

Yoshida Scholarship Foundation was founded through the advocacy of the late Mr. Tadao Yoshida, to bring able persons to the nation and society as well as to contribute to society by financially assisting and providing students of excellent nature with equal opportunities of education.

This scholarship program is offered to the following students, who are still in home country before departure to Japan:
• Mongolia
• China
• Korea
• India
• Pakistan
• Sri Lanka
• Bangladesh
• Nepal
• Bhutan
• or one of ASEAN countries
Fields:
• Natural Science or Engineering except medical, dental and veterinary

Scholarship grant:
• Stipend: 150,000 yen per month
• Matriculation fee, tuition fee: max.2,500,000 yen.
• Housing allowance: at large city, max. 40,000 yen per month. other city, max. 20,000 yen per month.
• Family allowance: if spouse lives together in Japan and he/she has no source of income: 20,000 yen per month.
• Travel expense: A round-trip air ticket, economy class.

Level of study and period of scholarship grant:
• Master’s degree-2 years, under 30 years of age on April 1 of application year.
• Doctor’s degree-3 years, under 35 years of age on April 1 of application year.
• Non degree students are not eligible.

All application shall require recommendation from the university mentioned above and shall be accepted through the university in Japan. Applicants are required to start preparation at least one year prior to his/her departure from home country to Japan.

Number of scholarship winners 7 students per year (7 universities mentioned above shall recommend 1 student each every year.)
